Brooke’s Butterfly Touch officially launched on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Though the turnout was much smaller than I’d hoped, especially considering all the work my sweet friend Jolene put into helping me promote the event, I know The Lord brought in the people who most needed to be encouraged by my story. And that made it an extremely blessed day.
After it was over, my lovely and wise friend Robbin directed me towards Zechariah 4:10, which says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the lord rejoices to see the work begin…” This made smile because I knew it was a loving reminder from The Lord of the over arching theme in my own life story: patience and diligence. Everything The Lord has helped me accomplish while sitting in this chair has entailed a long journey full of baby steps. Starting my own business will be no different. I’ve received nothing but positive feedback on my purpose statement and introductory presentation, so with prayer and persistence I will keep moving forward.
In order to make progress however, I need a few courageous people to come forward with story ideas. And so, I’m offering my creative services free of charge to the first four people who contact me by Friday, January 9, 2015. Could that be you?
