Hi all my Flutterby Friends!🦋
If you read my last post, you know God has put a lot of big opportunities for my stories to encourage a LOT MORE PEOPLE in front of me lately, but is also really testing my faith that He will provide the funds needed to make them happen. I wanted to share an update and ask if you would be willing to be the vessels God uses for this purpose?
The most immediate need for my ministry is to have the ability to fulfill the request for 1000 hardcover copies of my book, Rolling in Grace, which I received from Books-A-Million this past Tuesday. They are a national bookstore, with both a large online store, as well as physical locations throughout the country. Since my book is currently only available in paperback, but they require hardcover copies, it’s strongly recommended that I use one of their regional publishing services partners, Everline Press, to print and ship the books in order to meet their current in-store customer demand. This is the first formal bookstore request I have received in my 20 years of writing, so I feel God is doing something right now. My printing cost is $22,000 (as of Friday and expected to be paid with order placement this Wednesday, 6/10).
The books will be sold for $36, and Books-A-Million will receive a 15% commission for selling all copies within six months and will pay BBT for any not sold in that period. This means BBT will ultimately receive $36,000 in income. That’s a huge blessing and the book will hopefully be able to encourage a much larger audience.
The other projects are underway, and expected to be completed and paid off at end of the month. First is the series of 5 animated shorts for YouTube based on my children’s book, The Little Butterfly Girl. These are meant to encourage and engage children to seek God’s love and acceptance, even when they have limitations. I would be grateful for assistance with making the final payment of $1,100. The total for that project was $7,000. This also includes the creation of the audiobook, which is now available on all platforms. I will include the audiobook links and the link to the first video below.
Lastly, there is a big demand for a Spanish version of Rolling in Grace, which I learned about through a survey done by Audiobook Publishing Services. They are the Company that published the Audiobook and ebook for RIG. They have the first phase of the Spanish release (Paperback, hardcover, and ebook) underway. I have one remaining payment for this of $1,100. Along with this is next 3-month marketing plan fee of $450.
In summary, the total needed to complete all of these projects is $24,650. I am fully aware this is a crazy amount to ask for on just a couple days notice. But, as it is often said, “when a mission is truly from God, it will seem impossible without His provision.” This is my greatest example of that truth in a very long time.
“When a mission is truly from God, it will seem impossible without His provision.”
If you’re wondering why I’m only now posting this, it’s because my body and mind have not been cooperating with my best intentions since my surgery and concurrent bladder infection from a couple weeks ago. Just being real about life with a physical disability. But, I KNOW my God is bigger than my discomfort and distraction. He can make anything happen In a day.
Would you let Him work through you for my biggest “but God” miracle yet? I’ll be grateful for whatever you can give, and however He uses it.
Thank you for always Rolling in His Grace with me!
Butterfly Blessings to you,
Brooke Brown ✝️💜🦋
